Hello Viewers,
I'm a little disappointed with myself thus far throughout my Genius Project. I've fallen somewhat far behind and am going to need to catch up. I've felt myself gradually falling further and further behind because I've some what pushed this project to the side while keeping my priorities on core classes and getting work done for those classes. In the near future I am going to be doing my best to set time aside to work on this project and stay caught up. Besides that, I'm feeling confident in my idea which I will be basing my genius project on and the final product that I will be presenting.
Since the first week, my idea for what I will be completing has not altered in the slightest bit. I'm sure that I will be sticking to my idea throughout the duration of this project. Although, my plans for the project have changed a little due to me falling behind. As I stated before, I will now be needing to set aside more time dedicated to this project in order to not only catch up, but maintain my status and stay caught up. To do this I will need to complete the planning step in a great amount of detail. This way, I will have a strict schedule to follow that will enable me to stay caught up on this project. Also, because my project is about players from small high schools being recruited to college, I thought I'd do some additional research although on a slightly altered topic: Players from small schools who didn't play division 1 and made it to the NBA. One of them including a well known Devean George who had a more than respectable 11 year career most well known for playing with the Los Angeles Lakers alongside Kobe Bryant which I have pictured below.
Throughout this week, I have been able to get a chunk done of the second blog post although I am definitely planning on completing that by the end of this week. Then, regarding the public pitch, I was able to complete my video in good time but unfortunately, there was some malfunction regarding the sound so the video that I made was useless and I will need to create another one. I was also able to get some of the planning step completed. But besides this, the project has gone well so far. Thank you all for reading! More to come.
